1 Introduction
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the social media platform Stormy (the "Service") made available to you by Stormy AS, address Svingen 5, 0196 Oslo ("Stormy"). Under these Terms of Use, you, as the user of the Service, will be referred to as "you" or "your".
Your access to and use of the Service is subject to your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms of Use. If you access the Service after being presented with these Terms of Use, you are deemed to have accepted the Terms of Use, thereby forming a binding agreement between you and Stormy. Please read all of the following terms and conditions before accessing the Service.
2 About the service
Stormy is a global social media platform operated from Norway. The Service enables you to connect with friends and
communities, and to receive personalized content and advertising that may be relevant to you and your interests.
Stormy is a social media platform that values authenticity and seeks to create a space where individuals can simply be
themselves. It is designed as a place to inspire, to be inspired, and to share genuine moments from everyday life. Unlike traditional platforms that emphasize permanence, presentation, or polish, Stormy allows every post to disappear — mirroring the transient nature of real experiences.
By removing likes and the counting followers hierarchy, reduces pressure and expectations, Stormy encourages users to engage naturally, without the need for curation or performance. Once a moment is shared, the invitation is simple: put the phone down and continue living, welcoming more moments in life without the constant presence of a screen.
Stormy is designed with the user’s wellbeing and authenticity at its core. By removing traditional pressures such as likes and follower counts, the platform fosters an environment that is more relaxed, genuine, and human-centered. Users benefit from:
Reduced social pressure — no competition for validation or status.
Greater authenticity — freedom to share real moments without curation or performance.
Healthier engagement — less screen time, encouraging balance between online and offline life.
Deeper connections — opportunities to interact meaningfully with friends and communities.
Inspiration and creativity — a space to both inspire and be inspired through real experiences.
